About the Role:
As a CBRE HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems at facilities by conducting proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance and any reactive repairs.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You'll Do:Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building. This includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course of action for equipment modifications.
Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2+ years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education May be considered. Valid driver's license required.
To be successful in this role you will need to have a Universal 608 Certification.
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. - Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education maybe considered.
- Experience in at least two engineering design cycles including specification, component selection and programming.
- 2+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
- 2+ years of experience with robotics system components and controls.
- 2+ years of experience with SCADA systems.
- Ability to be available and work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- Ability to independently solve problems and carry out general instructions in standard situations with limited to no oversight.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability tolift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive,complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations andhandle problems.
- 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in Control Systems troubleshooting/ programming.
- Experience supporting a range of different conveyorsand sortation systems.
- Experience with robotic maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. - Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
