Automatic Pedestrian Door (APD) Technician
DH Pace Company is a family‑owned business with over $1 billion in annual sales and more than 60 offices across the continental US. Overhead Door Company of Springfield, a DH Pace Company, seeks an Automatic Pedestrian Door (APD) Technician.
Job Responsibilities- Install and repair a wide range of commercial door and door hardware including roll‑up doors, dock doors, high‑speed rolling doors, commercial entry doors, and automatic pedestrian doors.
- Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
- Operate in a safety‑conscious manner at all times while performing job duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Able to safely lift 100 pounds.
- Welding experience preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Experience as an Automatic Pedestrian Door (APD) Technician or Electromechanical Technician.
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage effective the 1st day after start date.
- Paid time off: 13 days accrued annually during 1st year; 16 days during 2nd year.
- Paid holidays:
New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day. - Floating holidays: up to 2 per year.
