As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations with clear communication and professional customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid drivers license and meeting AU Driver Policy requirements.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as required by site policy, documenting entries and exits as needed.

+ Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site contacts and/or public responders when appropriate.

+ Complete detailed reports of patrol activities, incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns, and communicate updates to supervision and site leadership.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
