About the RoleWe’re hiring a high-performing Business Development Manager to aggressively expand our referral network and generate consistent, high-quality insurance opportunities.
This role is for a builder—not an order taker.
You will be responsible for creating, owning, and scaling a referral ecosystem that produces long-term, recurring business.
Top performers in this role will earn significant income and become a key growth driver inside the company.
Core Mission- Build and own a referral network that consistently generates new insurance opportunities.
- Relationship Development – Build strategic referral partnerships with:
- Mortgage lenders and loan officers
- Real estate agents and brokerages
- Auto dealerships and finance managers
- Financial advisors and wealth managers
- Builders, property managers, and business owners
- Develop deep, long-term referral relationships—not surface-level contacts.
- Become a trusted insurance resource within your network.
- Prospecting & Outreach – Perform daily outbound outreach via phone, email, Linked In, and in-person meetings.
- Identify and target high-producing referral partners.
- Consistently grow your referral pipeline.
- Networking & Market Presence – Attend networking events, industry groups, and local business organizations.
- Represent OZK Insurance as a professional and confident brand ambassador.
- Maintain an active and professional Linked In presence.
- Engage regularly with partners through social media, events, and direct contact.
- Pipeline Ownership – Track all referral partners and opportunities.
- Maintain consistent follow-up cadence.
- Reactivate dormant relationships.
- Continuously expand your network.
