Sales Development Rep/SDR
Overview
CSI provides hygienic pipe, valves, fittings, pumps, and heat exchangers to industrial companies and industrial service providers. We are seeking a qualified candidate who can collaborate with Business Development Leaders to ensure our customers’ satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. The position focuses on customer requests for information, quoting, technical solutions, and order management.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain rapport with customers, vendors, and internal customers
- Communicate daily via phone and email throughout the sales cycle to ensure customer satisfaction
- Process and manage quotes and orders to exceed customer expectations
- Negotiate with vendors to maintain a profitable margin on orders

This position requires mechanical aptitude, exceptional organizational skills, intermediate-to-advanced computer and keyboarding skills, and initiative. The ability to communicate and develop relationships with customers is critical. A successful Customer Advocate will be detail oriented, able to multi-task and will not be intimidated by the decision making requirements brought about by situational needs.

Salary: $20 - $24 an hour
Required Education/Training- High school diploma/GED
- College credits; preferred
- Bachelor of Science; preferred
- Technical (mechanical) emphasis, preferred
- 2+ years in customer service field
- Order entry experience
- 2+ years in sanitary process industry, desired
- Industrial food or pharmaceutical experience, desired
With or without reasonable accommodation, the successful candidate must be able to remain in a stationary position for 90% of the workday, have close visual acuity, and constantly operate a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a phone, copy/fax/scan machine, calculator, and computer keyboard and mouse.
