Position:
Barista – Full‑time and Part‑time.

Schedule:

Full‑time and Part‑time schedules available; open availability preferred. Monday through Friday, occasional Saturdays. Hours vary. More details upon interview.

Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour.

• Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS device; accept cash and charge payments.
• Replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining the cleanliness of the service area.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.
• Ensure proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards.
• Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
• Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments.
• Greet customers courteously and interact in a manner that ensures customer satisfaction. Relay relevant concerns from customers to supervisors.
• Serve customers quickly and efficiently, and prevent delays in serving lines.
• Demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to customers.
• Advocate selling techniques by establishing good communication and assisting in the buying decision‑making process.
• Ensure all display foods are merchandised attractively per standards and serve food neatly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Prior barista experience preferred.
• Ability to follow HACCP guidelines and other food‑service standards.
• Strong customer‑service skills; friendly, courteous manner.
