Overview

We are hiring immediately for a full time COOK position at Eurest located at Expedia Springfield, 5000 West Kearney Street, Springfield, MO 65803. Online applications are accepted only.

Full time schedule, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm. Days may vary; further details provided at interview.

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, maintaining proper temperatures, and presenting attractive and tasty food. Taste all prepared items.
• Uses established ticket procedures during service and maintains records from the area worked during service.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving; stores or discards excess food per safe food-handling procedures.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized; ensures proper storage of food and supplies.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Assists in ordering and receiving all food and supplies as required.
• Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings; maintains good working relationships with coworkers and management.
• Performs job safely in a clean, safe work environment and follows HACCP standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Adheres to company policies and procedures, including safety and PPE requirements (gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, proper lifting techniques).

• Requirement:
  Previous cook experience preferred.
