Overview

Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium is hiring a Guest Experience Educator with a high degree of concentration and attention to detail to join our education team. These educators engage with guests to share the wonder of our animals at stingray and invertebrate touch touch pools. They also engage with guests throughout the museum and aquarium, sharing the conservation mission.

Day in the Life of a Guest Experience Educator

Educators work at a variety of exhibits, including touch pools, ensuring guests learn something new every visit and properly engage with our animals. This position also provides educational experiences for birthday parties, overnights, and more. Other daily duties include possible live animal handling for encounters, maintaining clean and organized guest spaces, and conducting dive show presentations. This position works closely with Educator 2 and lead positions and reports to the Guest Experience Education Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with guests to share the wonder of our animals at touch pools and other exhibits.
  • Engage with guests throughout the museum and aquarium, sharing the conservation mission.
  • Work at a variety of exhibits and provide educational experiences for birthday parties, overnights, and more.
  • Possibly perform live animal handling for encounters.
  • Maintain clean and organized guest spaces.
  • Conduct dive show presentations.
  • Collaborate with Educator 2 and lead positions and report to the Guest Experience Education Assistant Manager.
