Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU (PICU) day shift position requiring a MO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent specialty experience.

• Work in a Pediatric ICU setting with occasional coverage in Pediatrics and Sitter units
• Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:00
• 13-week contract assignment
• Pediatric patient population
• Blocked scheduling may be allowed based on facility needs
• Up to 5 days of requested time off is allowed if made up during the assignment
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be eligible with adjusted contract limits and pay rules
• Subcontractor staff within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a 1-year separation is required or reassignment outside the radius
• No previous permanent employment at the facility required
• Full employment files must be complete prior to assignment start
• Responsibilities include providing critical care nursing to pediatric patients in intensive and acute care settings

• Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment unless renewal is scheduled
• Minimum 1 year of recent PICU experience required
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number is required;
  Canadian SINs are not accepted
• No employment gaps of 90 or more days in the past 12 months
