Quality Technician – Day Shift
Schedule: 2-2-3 two-week cycle:
Week 1: 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on. Week 2: 2 days off / 2 days on / 3 days off.
Shift: 12‑hour, 6am‑6pm.
- Perform physical testing on raw eggs and finished product and use test results to meet customer or company packaging specifications.
- Train new technicians and calibrate/maintain lab equipment, inventory/order supplies and replacement parts, and general housekeeping.
- Follow safety policies and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Manage hand and footbath washing stations and chemical inventory, dispensing and tracking utilization.
- Verify and maintain pH levels on wash tanks, run CIP circuits and titrate chemicals on egg and flat washer.
- Maintain egg waste, spills, and clean‑ups while adhering to plant cleanliness policies.
- Record and document corrective actions and perform audits of inbound, outbound, raw materials, and other processes.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Day Shift – $21.25 per hour. Night Shift – $21.25 per hour + $3 per hour shift differential.

- 1 year of quality experience in production/de manufacturing.
- Must read, write, and speak English with neat and legible handwriting.
- Able to frequently lift or move up to 60 lbs.
- Understand and operate lab equipment and generate complete/accurate records.
- Work without direct supervision.
- Have or develop a working knowledge of computers.
- Adhere to all safety and Good Manufacturing Practice policies.
- Perform testing in a timely manner to prevent production line downtime/processing delays.
