Job SummaryWe’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the Custom Metalcraftteam! While working with the Maintenance team, you will perform maintenance, trouble‑shoot problems, perform preventive maintenance and repair electrical, mechanical, and industrial equipment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace to produce our prestigious, quality products. Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics desired. Computer and communication skills needed in working with outside vendors and internal management.

- Maintain and perform preventive maintenance on most electrical, mechanical, and industrial equipment.
- Trouble shoot and analyze problems on manufacturing equipment.
- Perform repairs on most electrical, mechanical, and industrial equipment from pneumatic impact guns to programmable controllers and microprocessors.
- Be able to weld, cut and grind metal for machine repairs.
- Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation (ex. requisitions for equipment, etc.) for department.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements.
- Answer questions and provide support for the operation in a cooperative manner.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- There may be times when a temporary work assignment is required to meet the requirements of the department. Work assignments will be made at the discretion of Management.
- 3 – 5 years Industrial Maintenance (preferred, will allow schooling as experience):
- Associates Degree in Electrical Maintenance (preferred)
- Stainless steel welding experience (a plus)
- 3 - 5 Years Manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Forklift/Scissor Lift Experience (required)

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and peripheral vision.
Forklift/Scissor lift driving will also be required.
