Job Summary

Part–time JANITOR position at ESFM (Integrated Facilities Management division of Compass Group USA). The position is located at 3M Springfield – 3211 East Chestnut Expressway, Springfield, MO 65802. Candidates must have previous janitorial experience. Pay ranges from $15.00 to $16.50 per hour. Applications are accepted online only.

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and return furniture to correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas using prescribed materials and equipment, sanitizes all surfaces, and follows the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refinish floors and shampoo carpet.
• Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
