Independent Contractor – Vehicle Inspector

Global Staffing Services is recruiting independent contractors in Springfield, MO to conduct vehicle inspections for banks, dealerships, leasing companies and other clients. The role focuses on reducing client risk through accurate field inspections and thorough reporting.

• Perform field inspections and verifications of automotive physical inventories.
• Use proprietary software to complete inspection reports.
• Identify equipment, locate Serial/VIN numbers and document changes or damages.
• Reconcile missing vehicles and update records.
• Submit completed reports within the required time frame.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Automotive experience (auto inspector, insurance adjuster, mechanic, auto body, etc.).
• Ability to use computer and mobile apps on a smartphone or tablet.
• Flexible schedule; available Monday–Friday 7‑am to 6‑pm.
• Professional appearance, demeanor and good communication skills.
• Completion of online certifications and onboarding process.

Contract:

Independent Contractor (1099). Multiple contracts per day available. Start rate: $40 per inspection. Potential to earn more based on availability.

Work location:

On the road, within a radius of your nearest location.

Willingness to travel: 75% required.

Shift: 8‑hour day shift, Monday–Friday.
