Platform Engineer Security Clearance

Position: 4359 Platform Engineer with Security Clearance
OVERVIEW:
As the Platform Engineer, you will work on a development team, utilizing Agile scrum methodology, which is responsible for developing and maintain agency wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capability deployed across multiple security domains. The PaaS environment supports multiple tenants deploying a myriad of application stacks and data services. GENERAL DUTIES:
* O&M of existing Red Hat Open Shift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments
* Support Open Shift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, Red Hat Git Ops
* Deploy Open Shift to new sites as they come online
* Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them
* Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions
* Support data services including Rabbit

MQ, Redis, Postgre

SQL, Elastic Stack
* Compile detailed documentation

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
* 5-8 years Developer experience
* Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following:
Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA DESIRED

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience deploying and managing Red Hat Open Shift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment
* Experience with Amazon Web Services
* Python, Shell scripting, Git
* Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS
* CI/CD orchestration tools:
Git Lab CI, Jenkins
* Container technology:
Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general CLEARANCE:
* Top Secret minimum
