Lobby Attendant- Evenings

The Oasis Hotel & Convention Center is currently seeking career driven individuals who are committed to providing a memorable experience to our guests. Our award winning hotel is a full service property, offering 173 guest rooms along with over 30,000 square feet of meeting and conference space. Housed within the Oasis, you will find Fire & Ice Restaurant & Bar, featuring Springfield’s only ice bar.

The Lobby Attendant cleans and maintains all public areas to meet established cleanliness and quality standards while providing exceptional service to our guests.

• Cleans designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas and offices.
• Performs tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, washing windows, cleaning/buffing floors and disposing of trash.
• Reports any maintenance concerns and items in need of repair
• Stocks and maintains cart and supply rooms, as needed
• Performs deep cleaning tasks and special projects
• Deliver guest requested items
• Directs guest to guest rooms and meeting rooms, as needed

• Must excel in a fast paced environment

• Must have a positive, cheerful disposition
• Weekends are required

• This position requires constant standing, forward reaching, and walking. Position also requires frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing and overhead reaching. Must be able to lift and carry up to 45lbs. Pushing and pulling an average weight of 25lbs is required. Candidate must be able to pass a job specific post-offer physical prior to beginning employment with Oasis Hotel.

• Primarily indoor working conditions in a fast-paced environment. Though will be required to work in outdoor conditions at times.
