Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield has an opening for a PRN Licensed Therapist. We are seeking individuals who are committed to improving the lives of those with mental health illness. Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield is one of the premier behavioral health hospitals providing inpatient psychiatric treatment for children and teenagers. Comprehensive care is designed for the individual, not the diagnosis. The hospital is daily committed to improving patients’ lives by using a patient‑centered collaborative approach to provide high‑quality care addressing both mental health and physical wellbeing.

Our therapist responsibilities include the following:

• Psychosocial assessment of new patients; developing an update or detailed reassessment of the patient.
• Maintains contact with family and significant others in the patient’s life when appropriate and provides patient and family education, support, and advocacy.
• Provides coordination and acts as liaison with community‑based social and mental health agencies.
• Facilitates discharge planning and conducts post‑discharge follow‑up to assure linkage of the patient with community resources, reducing re‑hospitalization.
• Facilitates groups with patients daily.

Please apply if you have the following qualifications:

• Education:
  
  Level of knowledge acquired through the completion of social work (SW) from an accredited school of social work. Unrestricted licensure in social work required. LMSW, MSW, or LPC preferred. Will consider CSW or PLPC with stipulations.
• Experience:
  
  At least one (1) year of related experience in a hospital setting with psychiatric experience preferred.
• Additional Requirements:
  
  Successful completion of CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 30 days of employment.
• Schedule:
  
  Seeking full‑time with some weekends.
