A Physician Assistant is an individual who is engaged in the examination or treatment of patients while under the supervision of a licensed physician.

• Education:
  
  graduate of an accredited physician assistant program.
• Experience:
  
  no prior experience required.
• Skills:
  
  self‑motivated individual who can work with little direct supervision; able to work independently and collaboratively in teams; tolerance for working with multiple numbers of people; good clinical expertise, communication skills, human relations skills, and organizational skills; proficient computer skills.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  Missouri PA License; BLS certification to be obtained within the first 90 days of hire; successful completion of all department‑specific credentialing within the first 90 days of employment.
