RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be indicated on submission form)

• 13-week assignment length

• Weekend hours as required by facility

• No call requirements

• Auto-offer position with flexible guaranteed hours

• Block schedule cannot be accommodated

• RTO must be made up on the back end, not approved in first week

• Can request only 1 holiday RTO per assignment

• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available entire week

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS from AHA only; TNCC; NIHSS (may obtain prior to start)

• Current RN license meeting Missouri state criteria or currently licensed in Missouri

• 1 year Emergency Department experience in Level 1 trauma facility or 2 years in Level 2 trauma facility required

• Patient ratio typically 4:1, may vary with surge and circumstances

• Work with 68-bed emergency department using EPIC EMR system

• Handle trauma/pediatric cases, 200+ patients per day, high acuity preferred

• Dress code:
Black scrubs required, no unprofessional attire or jeans

• Provide patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

• Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments

• Stand and walk most of the time, lift and push up to 50 lbs.

• Work in busy urban trauma center environment
