* Key Responsibilities:
*
* • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and resolving concerns.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing prescriptions, including counting or pouring medications, labeling, and pricing.
• Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and stocking medications from suppliers.
• Process new prescriptions and refill requests while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Prepare insurance claims and verify payments for prescriptions.
• Complete and maintain necessary training modules to ensure adherence to pharmacy protocols.
• Perform housekeeping duties and organize pharmacy supplies as needed.
** Education, Experience, and/or Credential
Qualifications:
*
* • High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid pharmacy technician license in good standing with the appropriate board of pharmacy
• Eight months as a Technician I or equivalent experience
*
* Additional Qualifications:
*
* • Successful completion of a background check, including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check
• Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
*
* Physical Requirements:
*
* • ADA Consideration - Sedentary work:
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.
• Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.
• Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
