Overview

Provide diagnostic C.T. scans for interpretation by radiologist and/or performing physician in the performance of interventional and special procedures (biopsy, ablation, myelography, arthography and any other such procedures). Assist radiologist in the performance of special C.T. procedures and provide the patient care essential for all procedures. Be able to be on call if needed. Apply principles of radiation safety. Able to organize the daily schedule and be a dedicated resource to the CT team on shift.

The Imaging Loan Repayment Assistance Program provides financial support to our Mercy Imaging co‑workers in a 24X7 hospital based eligible position who are in a .4 FTE and above, working 32 hours or more per pay period. The program offers monthly payments made directly to the loan servicer up to the amount of $370 per month and up to $20,000 for a lifetime maximum.

• Education: Successful completion of an accredited Radiography program.
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
• Experience: Has acquired experience and possesses capability as determined to be adequate for the position.
• Certifications: A.R.R.T. registered or registry eligible upon hire, and A.R.R.T. achieved within six months of employment.
