Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Special Procedures Tech - Radiology

Job Details:

• Work day shift Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8 schedule)

• 36 guaranteed hours per week

• 13-week assignment length

• Call coverage required: one to two weekends per month plus 4-6 weekdays per month

• Work in four interventional radiology suites with 1:1 procedural patient ratio

• Float requirements as needed by facility

• Green surgical scrubs provided daily and must remain within facility

• Required licensure: ARRT (R) certification

• Preferred advanced registry certifications: CI, VI, RCIS

• Required certifications: BLS from AHA only

• Minimum 2 years relevant interventional radiology experience required

• Must be proficient in diagnostic and invasive procedures

• Operate Siemens imaging equipment and maintain radiation safety practices

• Administer contrast materials and review medication reconciliation forms

• Support care team during procedures including scrub assistance

• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures

• Work with oncology, dialysis, neurology, and PE patients

• Use EPIC Radiant EMR system

• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 through April 1
