Position: Contract Grant and Compliance Specialist

Contract Grant and Compliance Specialist

The Springfield-Greene County Health Department is accepting applications for the Contract Grant and Compliance Specialist. As this role, you will coordinate with staff across all divisions to plan programs, manage grants, and ensure everything aligns with funding requirements. Responsibilities include identifying funding opportunities, writing and submitting grant applications, building systems that ensure long‑term compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, monitoring performance, maintaining documentation, and collaborating to keep the department on track with grant obligations.

Qualifications

and Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related area.
  • Two years of related experience in the coordination of grant efforts including development, tracking, and compliance.
  • Valid driver’s license if operating a motor vehicle for job duties.
Additional Requirements

Proof of United States citizenship or authorization to work in the United States as established by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986 is a condition of employment. We are committed to a drug‑free workplace; pre‑employment drug testing is required.
