We’re seeking a passionate and organized teacher to design and deliver individualized instructional programs that help students build language, academic, social, and vocational skills. In this role, you'll lead both group and one-on-one instruction, manage classroom behavior plans, guide teaching assistants, and track student progress daily. You’ll collaborate closely with BCBAs, administration, and families to ensure each student’s goals and curriculum are current and effective.

Some Of Your Responsibilities Would Include
  • Develop and implement individualized academic and ABA-based lesson plans.
  • Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy and ensure accurate data collection on all student programs.
  • Supervise teaching assistants, ensuring adherence to procedures and paperwork completion.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging learning environment.
  • Assist students with daily self-help skills as needed.
  • Participate in crisis situations when required.
  • Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and IEP documentation.
  • Communicate daily with parents/guardians and report updates to the Director.
  • Model professional and appropriate behavior for teaching assistants.
  • Escort students to classes and off‑campus activities.
  • Stay current on required training including CPR, First Aid, and Behavior Intervention.
  • Follow all agency policies, procedures, and mandated reporting requirements.
  • Remain punctual, dependable, and flexible in daily duties.
What do I need to be qualified for this position?
  • Required:

    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Required:

    Valid Missouri Special Education Teaching Certificate (Provisional Certificate will be considered).
