OACAC Head Start is seeking motivated team members for the position of Head Start Preschool Teacher Assistant
. As an Assistant Teacher, you will create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that helps children reach their highest potential while partnering with parents and your co-teaching team to help make this happen. You will show exemplary responsive care, while demonstrating classroom management skills, lesson planning and developmentally appropriate practice. Salary Range: $15.77 - $18.70
Requirements: Minimum of HS Diploma or GED. Experience working with young children.
Preferred: Early Childhood degree. Copy of transcript required with application.
