Work Status: Full Time/Full Year M-F 8:00-4:00
OACAC Head Start is seeking motivated team members for the position of Head Start Preschool Lead Teacher
. As the Lead Teacher, you will create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that helps children reach their highest potential while partnering with parents and your co-teaching team to help make this happen. You will show exemplary responsive care, while demonstrating classroom management skills, lesson planning and developmentally appropriate practice. This position provides supervision to co-teachers and is responsible for maintaining State Licensing and Accreditation Standards as well as Federal Head Start Performance Standards.

SalarySalary Range: $22.73 - $23.87
RequirementsMinimum of Early Childhood AA/AAS degree. Copy of transcript required with application. Supervisory experience.
PreferredBachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child & Family Development or related field.
