This vital role offers the opportunity to support a high-volume maternity service with approximately 2,700 to 3,000 annual births, including Level 3 NICU coverage and potential gyn emergencies. Required Skills:

• MD or DO license valid in Missouri
• Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
• Current, unrestricted medical license
• ACLS and NRP certification
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a hospital-based team

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Prior OB hospitalist experience
• Experience managing high-risk deliveries
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to handle gyn emergencies confidently

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of OB hospitalist experience preferred
• Recent practice in high-volume obstetrics settings

Other Requirements:

• Availability for 24-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Travel and licensure reimbursements applicable
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care

Employment Details:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $218.40
• Shift: 24-Hour shifts, allowing flexibility and rest periods
