Whether your interest involves news, production, sales, marketing, or engineering, our stations become a hands‑on learning environment for Gray Television interns. Not only will you walk away with an expanded resume and portfolio, but Gray’s paid internship also opens doors to begin your full‑time career with Gray Television. Many of our current employees started as interns. Our paid internship program puts you at the front of the line for full-time job openings, armed with the training you received from your internship.

Intern rate of pay can range from minimum wage in your state to $15 an hour.

We’re committed to a broad applicant recruiting outreach program in our continuing efforts to represent our diverse community.

• Work on a detailed four-week training course set for you by the news director.
• Be able to learn shooting, video editing, and writing for on-air and web.
• Practice writing web and on-air scripts.
• Shoot video and interviews.
• Must be able to work some holidays.

• Prefer a college junior or senior majoring in broadcast, journalism, or a similar field.
• Must have a goal to work in broadcast television.
