Lube Tech

Works under direct supervision and follows established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. Performs minor repairs and limited preventive maintenance (PM) on assigned equipment.

Application requires completion of a Culture Index Survey.

• Responsible for oil/lube/tire changes, 13-point inspections, brake inspections and tire repair and replacements, and miscellaneous vehicle repairs
• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to commercial vehicles
• Perform routine oil & lube services on commercial vehicles
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility, including general housekeeping duties
• Capable of lifting a minimum of 75 lbs.
• Perform oil change services, checking and topping off all fluids, checking tire pressures and air and cabin filters in a timely manner
• Perform tire rotations, mounting and balancing
• Assist senior mechanics with needed tasks.
• Power wash exterior body of trucks, under hood, framework, and rear working section
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles.
• Assist with service calls for breakdowns.
• Perform other maintenance related work as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards.
• Upkeep of shop and tools, ensuring all tools are clean and in proper storage locations, trash is taken out regularly, floors are swept and kept free of any slip and/or trip hazards.
• Other duties as assigned by shop lead or higher supervision.
