Tax Supervisor

KPM is seeking a tax supervisor to join our team to ensure all tax responsibilities required of assigned accounts are fulfilled, achieving client-focused service standards and complying with firm standards and policies, and federal and state tax laws.

• Deliver accurate and timely client tax information.
• Prepare complex returns with little supervision.
• Assist with supervising and training staff.
• Meet all client service and compliance deadlines. Provide tax expertise to address client needs.
• Maintain current and increase knowledge of subject matter:
  Federal and state tax laws, regulatory and compliance requirements, and tax planning techniques. Take personal responsibility for career development.
• Work with other department staff to provide seamless client service.

• At least 5 years of recent public accounting experience with an emphasis in tax.
• Able to work in a multi-task environment, managing multiple priorities while delivering results.
• Strong working knowledge of fiduciary tax return preparation and processing in a high volume environment.
• Exercise sound judgment in decision-making, taking into consideration managing risk and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated oral, written and presentation communication skills.
• BA/BS with a major in accounting & CPA required.
