Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a Program Supervisor to join our team for the Holyoke Adult Individual Triage and Outreach Program.
YOUR ROLE AS A PROGRAM SUPERVISOR:
Serving as the Program Supervisor for our Holyoke Adult Individual Triage and Outreach Program you will provide operational oversight to a team of triage and outreach case workers and direct care staff who work with adult individuals who are unhoused. You will work within the Agency’s team model, establishing open communication, support, and accountability among co-workers.
- Adheres to relevant program models, including Housing First, Trauma Informed Care, and/or Harm Reduction, among others.
- Provides recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new case workers and direct care staff; subsequently provides orientation, training, and supervision to a team of case management and direct care staff.
- Monitors site compliance with contracted rehousing, case management, and database management activities.
- Engages in risk management for the site and responds as needed to crises.
- Interacts with participants in order to assess their needs, provide information, respond to their concerns, discuss problems, and encourage growth and development.
- Assists in team-building efforts across Homelessness Services programs and the Agency’s various other continuum of resources, including CHD CBHC crisis intervention and crisis stabilization programs, urgent outpatient therapy and psychiatry, and primary medical care.
- Adheres to program procedure manual and assists in its ongoing review and development.
- Participates in implementation corrective and disciplinary action as needed and under the supervision of the Field Operations Manager.
- Participates in program and division management meetings.
- Delivers services to any client on site in the event that the assigned staff is unavailable.
- Other program intervention needs, as they become identified.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years of experience working with the unhoused population recommended
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in human services field
- Knowledge of funding programs and/or statewide homelessness services
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle to be used for work purposes
- All candidates must complete and pass background record screening
SUCCESS FACTORS:
The ideal candidate for the Program Supervisor role would have 5 years’ experience working with the unhoused population. High energy level, self-starter, task oriented, detail oriented and accurate, organized and efficient, open and direct interpersonal style, and works well as a team member.
Pay rate: $26.00 - $27.00 an hour based on experience. It also includes a full benefit package, including Dental, Health and Life insurance, paid time off, earned vacation time, just to name a few.
This is a full time Monday-Friday position, with flexibility to meet the needs of program and on-call responsibilities.
