Overview
Urgent Vet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care, offering after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our hospitals offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each of our paperless clinics is designed to deliver efficient care and is equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.

Our clinic is seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Veterinary Technicians for our brand-new clinic to help provide outstanding patient care, team leadership, and client service in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art urgent care clinic.
Responsibilities- Provide outstanding patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
- Support team leadership and client service to ensure a positive client experience.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to maintain patient safety and well-being.
- Participate in on-site training and onboarding as required.
- Engage with the community through high-quality veterinary care.
- Demonstrates professionalism, dependability, clear communication, and the ability to multi-task in a hands-on environment.
- Energetic, people-and-pet focused with strong work ethic and organizational skills.
- Willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Full-time employees may be required to travel for on-site training and onboarding.
- Prior customer service experience and prior experience working with animals in a hospital setting.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- In-person attendance is essential to support patient care and safety; equal employment opportunities are provided in accordance with ADA and applicable laws.
- Animal handling experience including patient restraint, sample collection, and monitoring.
- Clinical skills including phlebotomy, catheter placement, laboratory analysis, and drug calculation.
- Additional duties including facility maintenance and client education.
