RN, Urogynecology Practice Nurse SIGN ON BONUS for RN with 1 year outpatient practice experience.Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Practices is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Women's Health
CARE team!
Functions independently to assess develop and implement plan of care for complex patients
Perform daily scheduled patient nurse visits;
Perform daily post op calls;
Provides independent quality triage and patient care utilizing strong assessment skills, point of care testing and quality assurance checks.
Perform Urodynamic Studies (60-minute procedure) 10-15 per week
Intermittent Straight Catherization (ISC) teaching and management of patients with urinary retention- 45 minutes
Post Void Residual (PVR), education of the patient/family for self-catheterization; work closely with the physician as the patient may require additional surgery
Portal Messages- follow up treatments/care plan from providers must be addressed and calls made to patients with test results;
Massachusetts license as an RN and BLS CPR certified.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
Experience in practice specialty or related nursing strongly preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & handle multiple tasks/priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have competency in delivering exceptional nursing care and have proven success in partnering with both physicians and staff
36 hours Monday - Friday - (Wednesday 1/2 day)
