The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.

Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence is looking for a per diem Registered Nurse to join our Women’s Evaluation and Treatment Unit!

• The Women’s Evaluation and Treatment Unit monitors women in early labor. We perform approximately 4,000 births annually and serve as the only perinatal/high risk antepartum unit between Albany, New York and Hartford, CT. The unit includes a Level III NICU with neonatologists available 24/7.

Shared decision making between bedside nurses and nurse leaders spans resources, nursing research, evidence‑based practice projects, equipment, and staffing.

• Professional Development – Baystate Health accredits continuing education programs. Learning and mentoring form the core of our professional practice model, and Baystate sponsors nurses for certifications and conference attendance.

• Per Diem nights
• Rotating weekends and holidays

• Licensed RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (Board of Registration in Nursing Examination passed).
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
• BSN preferred (Diploma in Nursing required).

Diploma in Nursing (Required)

• Basic Life Support – American Heart Association
• Registered Nurse – State of Massachusetts
