Emergency Room - ER RN - Travel Nurse

Join Total Med as an Emergency Room (ER) RN Travel Nurse in Hyannis, MA. We need 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience to fill an immediate opening.

• Evaluate, triage, and implement patient care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Perform minor medical operations, advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries.
• Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor emotional and physical well‑being.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Provide basic bedside care.

• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI.

Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty; lift 20 pounds easily and up to 50 pounds when necessary.
