Inpatient Surgery - Trauma Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our Level 1 Trauma Service at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.

• Join the region’s only Level I Trauma Center where we provide the highest level of trauma, acute care surgery, and surgical critical care to patients of all ages. Our team of trauma surgeons and advanced practice providers respond to over 2,000 patients annually at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA.
• In this role you will care for patients on the Trauma Service alongside experienced trauma attendings, surgical residents, medical residents, PAs and NPs. APPs are assigned their own patients once trained and rotate with residents and on the advance practice ran service.
• Opportunity for procedure training is available. Occasional OR time.

• This full-time position involves 13-hour shifts, with rotating weekends. No overnight shifts.

Compensation
Salary range: $130,500 – 165,300
