Our Nursing SpecialtyMedical-surgical nurses provide care to a wide patient population with a variety of medical issues and require advanced organizational, prioritization, assessment, and communication skills. This specialty can be the foundation for your nursing career. Medicine is a specialty that offers care for patients with a wide range of medical concerns; our Medicine Units form the foundation for developing organizational, assessment, and communication skills.
DepartmentDescription
- S1400 is a 24-bed acute care nursing unit providing care to medical patients that may or may not require telemetry monitoring. The unit cares for a wide variety of medical issues, including Alzheimer’s/dementia, psych, sepsis or other advanced infections, fall/syncope, palliative/hospice, stroke, COVID-19, and cardiac diagnoses (atrial fibrillation, congestive heart failure, acute coronary syndrome).
- The unit population includes patients ages 20 to geriatrics. Staff also monitor and care for patients in observation or outpatient extended stay status.
- Full-Time, Days (7a-7p)
- Every other weekend and every other holiday

- New Grad RN (0-1 year of RN Licensure) — $41.00
- Experienced RN (1+ years of RN Licensure) — $42.66-$65.00

Minimum 1 year RN experience - Education:
ADN required; BSN preferred
