Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Baystate Health, western MA only academic center and tertiary care provider and home to Baystate Medical Practices, the largest multispecialty group in the region or the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNAs) to join our Anesthesia team at Baystate Health in Springfield, MA.

• Diverse Clinical Practice:
  Engage in a variety of case types at a Level I trauma center, collaborating with a team of anesthesiologists, anesthesiology residents, and CRNAs.
• Flexible Scheduling:
  Choose from 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts; full-time and part-time positions available. No Sundays worked ever and extremely limited Saturdays.
• Comprehensive Subspecialty Divisions:
  Collaborate with specialized divisions including Acute Pain Service, Cardiovascular Anesthesia, Pediatric Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia, and more, each led by dedicated division chiefs.
• Continuous Learning:
  Engage in regular Anesthesia Grand Rounds and symposia, promoting ongoing professional development.

• RNs who have recently completed a CRNA program.
• RNs who have been accepted or are actively enrolled in a CRNA program.

The compensation ranges in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range.

Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non‑exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees. Tier Years of Experience Range Base Salary 1 (0‑4) $277,000 3 (11+) $287,000
