Overview
Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence, is looking for a Full-time DAYS Registered Nurse to join our team on Daly 6A.
Department Description- Daly 6A - Acute Care for Elders: a dedicated, growing team with an engaged Manager, committed to professional growth and development of the team, and dedicated to patient experience.
- Unit provides care for the older adult patient population with 39 beds, 16 semi-private rooms, and 5 rooms for end-of-life care.
- This unit offers participation in nurse-driven change projects, favorable nursing ratios, and strong support staff.
- MAGNET RECOGNITION & SHARED GOVERNANCE. Baystate Medical Center has Magnet® recognition from the ANCC. Shared decision making between bedside nurses and nurse leaders covers resources, nursing research/evidence-based practice projects, new equipment purchases, and staffing.
- PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. Baystate Health provides continuing education programs for nurses. Learning and mentoring are core to our professional practice model. Baystate sponsors nurses obtaining certification and supports nurse empowerment through attendance at national conferences, loan reimbursement, and loan forgiveness.

- Full-Time Days – 12-hour shifts

- Successfully passed the Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification
- Experience:
Minimum 1 year RN experience required - Education:
ADN required; BSN preferred
