Baystate Health, Western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence seeks a Full Time Registered Nurse Clinical Education Coordinator (CEC) in the Heart & Vascular Critical Care and Surgical Trauma Critical Care Unit.
Overview
The Clinical Education Coordinator is an RN with a talent for teaching and engaging with staff to advance staff knowledge and proficiency in clinical practice. The CEC supports the implementation of Nursing care delivery to meet practice and compliance standards. The strategic goals of the organization are a guide for the CEC’s priorities and goals. Collaborates with inter-professional teams, leaders, stakeholders and others to accomplish positive clinical and educational outcomes.

Schedule

2p-12a - 40 hours per week
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Nursing (one earned degree required)
- Bachelor's degree preferred; must be matriculated into a BSN program within 12 months of hire
- RN – Massachusetts (required)
- Two years of critical care nursing experience in Heart and Vascular and/or Surgical Trauma (preferred), including management of invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ECMO, IABP, LVAD, and CRRT
- Experience teaching/precepting individuals or groups of students or staff
