Experience:

Set up and maintain sterile fields for surgeries
Anticipate the needs of surgeons and the surgical team
Manage surgical instruments and assist during procedures
Ensure patient safety and proper positioning
Follow strict infection control and safety protocols
Document procedures and handle surgical specimens
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (CAHEA or equivalent)
Level I Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
AST certification if required
CPR/BLS certification
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
