Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
Salary Range: $39.15 – $46.18 – $57.41

Schedule- Part time 30 hours
- Day shift
- Weekend and holiday rotations
- Under the supervision of the Radiologist and according to established policies and procedures, operates imaging equipment to obtain fluoroscopic images according to Radiologist specifications and assists with protocols/procedures as required.
- The Interventional Radiology Technologist is trained to assist physicians with a wide variety of minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures. Prepares patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, draping and positioning the patient, preparing procedural/testing sites and administering contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
- Works closely with physicians and nurses to monitor patient conditions continually and reports or responds to changes in status as appropriate.
- Provides professional and quality care while following hospital policies, procedures and standards. May be responsible for areas of instruction in training of new staff or others in specialty assigned areas for procedures, protocols, equipment and safety issues.
- Scrubs, circulates, and documents all Interventional procedures successfully and maintains sterile technique and proper equipment and supply handling. Includes ACLS and Baystate Dysrhythmia course as applicable.
- Graduate of an approved radiology program
- Basic Life Support – American Heart Association
- ARRT Certification
- 1 year as an Interventional Radiology Tech
- Ability to work with computer applications. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication. Able to work independently and be self-motivated.
