Baystate Health, the largest healthcare organization in western Massachusetts and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), the areas only level 1 trauma center in Western Mass, is looking for an Administrative Education Coordinator to join our experienced Nursing Education team in Springfield, MA.
- Travel to Baystate Wing (Palmer), Baystate Noble (Westfield), Baystate Franklin (Greenfield), and all other BH facilities is required
The Administrative Education Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the System Director of Clinical Education and the broader nursing education team. This position provides high-level administrative and operational support that enables the smooth delivery of system-wide clinical orientation and digital learning initiatives across Baystate Health. The role requires travel between facilities and close collaboration with multiple departments and service lines.
The Administrative Education Coordinator schedules meetings, and educational events; maintains accurate documentation and records; and supports internal communications to ensure timely information sharing. The role also assists with digital learning platforms, compliance reporting, payroll timekeeping, and upkeep of the nursing education homepage. With a strong focus on organization, confidentiality, and attention to detail, the Administrative Education Coordinator helps ensure nursing education initiatives run efficiently and effectively in support of high-quality patient care.
QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or GED, required
Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Administration, or Healthcare Management, preferred
Minimum of 3 years of administrative support experience, preferably in healthcare or education, required
Experience with digital platforms and learning management systems, required
Experience supporting nursing education or clinical departments, preferred
Knowledge of healthcare compliance and reporting standards
Full-time
Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
Hours could change depending on business need
No weekends, no holidays
Springfield, MA
