Progressive Care Nurse
At Mercy Medical Center the Intermediate Care Unit provides quality care primarily for adult patients experiencing severe, but usually non‑life‑threatening issues requiring moderately complex assessments, intensive therapies and interventions. What You Will DoIn this critical role you will assist in creating and managing nursing care plans and will participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient.
Minimum Qualifications- Education:
Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduate preferred. - Licensure:
Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts. - Certification: BLS (AHA/ARC). ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
- Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred. - Experience:
Previous cardiac monitoring/telemetry experience preferred. Acute care, Medical‑Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry preferred.
Full time, 36 hours, Days 7am-7pm. Every Other Weekend/Holiday.
Pay Range$41.27 – 67.06 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

Other facilities include Mercy's Rehabilitation Hospital, a comprehensive hospital‑based rehabilitation center on the campus of Mercy Medical Center and Brightside for Families and Children, an outpatient service offering counseling and family support programs.
