The Role
As a CPR Trainer (per-diem) staff member of the Center for Education & Professional Excellence (The Center), you will provide high-quality, skills-based training to ensure staff and partners are certified and competent in life-saving emergency response practices. The Center has four institutes which collectively develop and deliver behavioral health education and regulatory training to staff and community partners.
What You’ll Do- Provide CPR, First Aid, and AED training for all staff and community partners, including certification, recertification, and remediation training as needed.
- Maintain current instructor certification and knowledge of all training standards, policies and materials related to CPR/First Aid/AED instruction.
- Ensure training equipment (e.g. mannequins, AED equipment, first aid supplies) is properly maintained, sanitized, and functional prior to and after training sessions.
- Support compliance with organization policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to health and safety.
- Collaborate with the Center team to support ongoing training initiatives as deemed necessary and appropriate.
- Travel to designated training sites as required including all BHN locations.
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Current CPR/First Aid/AED from American Red Cross Instructor Certification (required)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to community locations.
