Restoring Families.
- Provides crisis intervention
- Adheres to program policy and procedure manual
- Participates in team approach, sharing responsibility for Persons’ services
- Notifies supervisory staff immediately in the event of a crisis, suspected illegal activity, or any behavior constituting an incident in the program
- Assists Persons with activities of daily living e.g. Personal hygiene, meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, money management, etc.
- Transports Persons in matters related to service delivery, e.g. medical appointments, shopping, job interviews, vocational program, banking, laundry
- Administer medication accordance with MAP policies and procedures
- Provides for and participates in Persons’ recreational activities, e.g. dining out, spectator sports, movies, etc.
- Participates in the development of Persons’ treatment plans
- Interacts with Persons in order to assess needs, provide information, discuss problems, identify patterns and stressors, and encourage growth and development
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in human service field preferred [needed for DC II, or additional experience].
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with population preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving history.
