Recreation Assistant
Bear Mountain at West Springfield, a skilled nursing facility in West Springfield, MA, is currently seeking a Recreation Assistant including every other weekend and occasional holidays. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution and impact on the senior population we serve.
The Assistant will plan and implement Activities programs under the supervision of their director to improve the functioning of residents who have a wide variety of physical, cognitive, social, emotional, developmental, or age-related needs.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever level of ability at which they are currently functioning.
