Salary range: $16.68 – $21.15 – $27.53 per hour
Daily activities are coordinated by the Registered Nurse (RN). The PCT will perform a variety of technical tasks and bedside functions. Responsibilities include direct patient care, hygiene, skin care, mobility, monitoring, phlebotomy, EKGs, equipment management, and other duties as assigned.
Job Responsibilities- Provides age‑appropriate care to patients.
- Monitors basic physiological parameters and records vital signs, weights/heights, abdominal girths, and head circumference for pediatric patients, reporting significant deviations promptly.
- Administers treatments and procedures per policy, including dressing changes within specified time frames and post‑mortem care as directed by the RN.
- Assists patients with elimination of body wastes, ensuring prompt availability of bedpan, urinal, and emesis basin.
- Accurately labels and sends specimens within 30 minutes, measures and records intake and output, and administers enemas or Harris Drips as ordered.
- Performs point‑of‑care testing and assists in ancillary services, following treatment plans and monitoring patient condition during therapy.
- Communicates effectively with the team and patients, respecting cultural and individual needs.
- Initiates and responds to emergency procedures, maintaining patient safety at all times.
- Functions as a member of the team, providing feedback on clinical and non‑clinical activities.
- At least one year of patient care experience (long‑term care, specialty, acute care, etc.).

- Proficient in reading and writing in English.
- Maintains professional composure in medium to high‑stress situations.
- Effective communication skills.
GED or HiSET
CertificationsBasic Life Support – American Heart Association
Certified Nurse Aide – Other
