Therapeutic Mentor at Behavioral Health Network, Inc (BHN)

Pay

$21.50 - $24 per hour

What You’ll Do
  • Work individually with youth to teach and model social, coping, and problem‑solving skills
  • Provide coaching and guidance to encourage positive behavior change and personal growth
  • Collaborate with clinicians, caregivers, schools, and community partners as part of a team-based care model
  • Support youth in developing independent living skills and self‑confidence
  • Help families navigate behavioral health systems and access resources
  • Document services and progress in a clear and timely manner
  • Participate in supervision, treatment planning, and ongoing training
Who You Are
  • High School Diploma, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children required; experience with Serious Emotional Disturbance strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of behavioral health, coping strategies, and child/adolescent development
  • Strong communication, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • Familiarity with community resources and child-serving systems
  • Interest in helping others and ability to create strategies that support goal achievement
  • Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
  • Comfortable with word processing, email, and documentation systems
