Shift: Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (8am-8pm need to be flexible with outpatient hours)
Schedule: SEBS - 75% 4 days a week in school and 25% 1 day a week outpatient (remotely or on Tuesdays 10/hours or after school hours)
Pay: $62,160 unlicensed and $65,660 licensed
What You’ll DoAs a School Clinician with BHN’s SEBS (Social-Emotional Behavioral Support) program, you will provide compassionate, student-centered mental health services to youth in a school-based setting. You will collaborate with educators, families, and BHN team members to help students thrive academically and emotionally by addressing behavioral and mental health challenges in real time.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver clinical services, including individual and group counseling, to students in the SEBS program
- Provide family and collateral consultation to ensure coordinated care
- Monitor student progress and make referrals for additional services (e.g., CBHC) as needed
- Collaborate with school teams through IEP meetings, team meetings, and family meetings
- Support crisis response when needed and become cross‑trained in YMCI crisis protocols
- Participate in weekly team meetings and receive clinical supervision

- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a Mental Health–related field (required)
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or mental health setting (required)
- Training in behavioral therapy, positive behavioral supports, or trauma-informed practices (preferred)
- Ability to collaborate with school teams, families, and community partners
- Flexibility and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a school-based environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be CPI‑certified within the first month of employment (training provided)
- This is a 100% onsite position located within Springfield Public Schools
