Mental Health Counselor

Join Sevita as a Mental Health Counselor and become part of a mission to create a world where every person has the right to live well. As a Caregiver, you’ll provide assistance and strategies to the individuals we serve to help them live well in their community and environment. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team of clinical staff and supportive supervisors, while you grow your career.

Salary ranges from $60,000 to $65,000 per year
. New Hire Bonus: $3,000
.

Responsibilities
  • Lead individual, family, couples, and group therapy
  • Conduct client intake sessions
  • Facilitate crisis intervention
  • Conduct case management
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to present cases for proper treatment
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field
  • Completed a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting
  • License eligible by State
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable vehicle required
  • Exceptional communication skills, ability to establish trust and rapport quickly
  • Good listener with empathy and ability to provide guidance
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Reliable, responsible attitude and compassionate approach
